January Hits & Misses

Here it is!!! My Hits & Misses!! Let's start with....

The Misses:

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Tinted Moisturizer: 

The biggest deal breaker for me was the scent. I could not have sent this back faster. Admittedly, I didn't have a problem with the consistency or coverage, but the smell was far too much for me to handle. It had a very, I guess, "organic" smell to it....kinda reminded me of something us Asians have hahaha, but whatever the case....it was just a foul smell BUT this is just my opinion. If you're not sensitive to smells then I would recommend this product considering the fact that it's not too bad of a tinted moisturizer. [Note: that my memory of this isn't very accurate since I only kept it for about a day :)]

Now onto the fun stuff!

The Hits:

NARS Danmari Palette

Oh lawd...the love I have for this palette. My all time favorite blush out of the six has to be Sin if I'm ever able to finish the one that's in the palette I'm definitely going to go out and get myself a full-sized one. My second favorite has to be Casino it serves as a wonderful contour color. I love Desire...it's SUPER pigmented and looked a bit scary in the pan, but trust me it looks beautiful when applied on the cheeks. Orgasm is alright, in my opinion, I'm just not a huge fan of the glitter. I haven't had the chance to try out Hungry Heart or Super Orgasm, which I'm kinda scared to try since Orgasm seemed to have a tad bit too much glitter for me. All-in-all...I love this palette. It is VERY expensive though as many people already know so if you don't have the money to splurge on this then I don't think this palette is a very good idea for you.

Revlon Lip Butters

Obviously...I would include these bad boys. Again, there are 100+ blog posts/YouTube videos that review these so yes check those out too. Now, the Revlon Lip Butters are just wonderful. They're pigmented, some more than others, they're hydrating, and they're cheap. I've heard that they're comparable to some Chanel lipsticks soo I mean hey...pay $8 or $30? Hahaha. My favorite colors are probably Strawberry Shortcake and Lollipop. Lollipop I can't wear out too much just cause it is a very bright color and I normally wear more pinky [Ahem. Strawberry Shortcake] and nude colors out for daily wear.

Neutrogena SkinClearing Blemish Treatment Foundation

I bought this product a LONG time ago and I've just started using it again. By far my favorite drugstore foundation. In my personal opinion, it's comparable to the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua with the absence of the smell. I can't say it's really "skinclearing" since I haven't really seen any big improvement on my skin, but it didn't break me out and it controls my oil, it passes in my book.

Skinfood Tomato Skin Whitening Toner

Being the Korea-lover that I am, I was soooo excited when I heard that a Skinfood was coming to one of my local shopping malls. Obviously, I had to go check it out. I suffer from acne scars/hyper pigmentation spots and I've been on the lookout for a skin whitener. So I thought to myself....those Koreans love their skin...I gotta try out some of their skin care products :D. So far so good. I'm not sure if it's whitening my face per se, but it definitely makes my skin look brighter and healthier. I've only had this for less than a month, I believe, so I gotta keep trying it out to see if the whitening effect is true. Oh and you should also know that this stuff along with a ton of other products from Skinfood smell AMAZING I swear I'd eat it if I could, but I'm sure that's frowned upon.
